after finn apologized sincerely several times over what he said to kurt, after finn stood up for him against his bullies and promised to always have his back, after finn has more than made up for what he said to kurt throughout the entire show, are you still focusing on this mistake?

and i’m not even sure why blaine’s thing is even here?? because telling someone to have a seat is nowhere near as condemnatory as you’re making it out to be, but whatever — FINN APOLOGIZED FOR THIS TOO, even made a speech about how he was just jealous of blaine’s talent, and now he and blaine are friends, so why is this even here? finn is NOT A BULLY.

and if you act like santana has been completely innocent the entire time and finn is just an awful bully who is targeting her sexuality in the last gif, you need to get real. santana repeatedly and consistently did NOTHING but hurt finn, making fun of his insecurities, sabotaging him when all he wanted to do was keep the peace between ND and TT, and refusing to apologize to him for doing all of the above. so finn suggested she come out of the closet. was it a good decision? of course not. but santana was being a BULLY, she was being HURTFUL, and finn knew that the reason why santana was doing so was because of her inability to be “herself.” he did not OUT her. someone else did that. maybe a crowded hallway wasn’t the BEST decision, but if you look back, santana made her big “i love you” declaration in a hallway full of people as well. anyone could have easily overheard her then, so why are we getting all up on finn’s dick for it in this situation? HE PROCEEDED TO HELP HER AND TELL HER THAT HE LOVED HER AND honestly, honestly all he was trying to do was help, and santana understood that.

i’m not saying finn is fucking perfect, i’m not saying i didn’t want to punch him in the mouth for his homophobia in the past, but to act like he is canonically homophobic as far as season 3 is fucking ridiculous 

the hate for finn is mindless and tbqh is mostly driven by people who are santana/brittany stans, ignoring all of their faults and putting them on a pedestal despite the countless times they’ve bullied others, or driven by people who stan faberry and just hate him for getting in the way of their fanon ship

finn hudson is a teenage boy who made mistakes in the past, but to act like he hasn’t grown AT ALL since the intolerant boy he was at one point in season 1 is like, the stupidest thing i’ve ever heard

Hmm this commentary seems to be missing something… Finn lead to the outing of a queer woman of color to an entire state. Now what do homophobic people tend to do when they meet confrotation with a queer person in the closet? I’m pretty sure it’s out them. You don’t weaponize someone’s sexuality. You don’t out someone.

Regardless of something someone has done, regardless of how irritated someone is, you have no right to out someone. You have no right, especially, to out someone to an entire state. It is not acceptable.

And if you think it is, then your opinion is the flawed one.

Also. What else did he do… I know he did something… Oh yes. After Santana said she didn’t feel comfortable quite yet with her outness, he forces her to attend a “Coming Out Party.” That, is not what someone who is an ally does.

Sure he may have grown. But there is no amount of saying sorry to other people will let him be forgiven for that. How did he say sorry to Kurt for that again? I know he sings a song that equates his sexuality to him not being a “real man.” Wedding song? Sure. That song making him perfectly forgiveable for saying that to Kurt? Nope.

Him appointing himself the leader of New Directions without a group consensus and that allowing him to be disrespectful to Blaine? Not buying it.
